The library opens 30 hours per week and offers a wider range of books, tapes, Cd's, language courses, books-on- tape and magazines etc. for borrowing. It has a comprehensive Reference Section and some Local Studies files. The Examiner, Kilkenny People and Tipperary Star newspapers are available to read in the Library.

Other services include, photocopying, exhibitions and notice boards for community information. Internet Access is available to the Public on 4 PC's.

Children are well catered for in the Children's Section and with an ongoing programme of activities, including author visits and Speech and Drama classes.

The library has a Literacy Collection and provides a meeting room for Word Aid students and their tutors.
